protect and restore the natural environment, and provide opportunities for ecologically sensitive public
enjoyment and education. www.openspace.org
Created by voters more than 35 years ago, the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District protects and manages over 57,000 acres of open space. Residents and visitors can enjoy the District’s twenty-six diverse and beautiful preserves all year.
Midpeninsula Regional Open Space Directors are elected by voters in General Elections every four
years. One Director will be selected for Ward 7. This is a non-partisan volunteer position.
I want to represent you, the people of the 7th Ward of the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District. My goal is to help balance the acquisition, protection and restoration of open space preserves while supporting the need for low-impact recreational and educational uses.
